Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
''The Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences'' is a scientific journal, published by John Wiley & Sons, on behalf of the American Pharmacists Association, with the support of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). It is a peer-reviewed journal which caters to both an academic and industrial audience.
The Journal is included in Journal Citation Reports; its 2014 Impact factor is 2.59, which is 109 out of the 254 journals in the Pharmacology & Pharmacy category.〔 〕
The journal was first published in 1912, as ''The Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association.'' It adopted its present title in 1961.
The online ISSN is 0022-3549; the print ISSN is 1520-6017; the standard abbreviation for the journal is ''J. Pharm. Sci.''
The editor is Dr. Ronald T. Borchardt, of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of The University of Kansas
